1:The anatomical and physiological:
The human body is composed of living cells , tissues, organs and organ system to carry out various functions for existence .The body contains at least 60 detectable chemical elements of which 6 elements, oxygen, carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, calcium and phosphorus accounts for 99% of the body mass. Though exact no of trace elements present in the body is not confirmed from any source it varies between 10 to 20 numbers. Mostly 17 in number including boron, cadmium, cobalt, Florine, silicon, tin, Vanadium and chromium. The body contents may be divided into organic and inorganic matter as a whole. Organic substances are molecular structures having carbon and hydrogen as components atom. Organic matters are such as
Inorganic matters are water, salt, minerals, gases. About 61% of body mass is organic and 39% of body mass is inorganic. Body generally carries out three types of biological reactions.
The work of the body such may be compared to an organized ,corporate office where works from sweeper to CEO is divided and responsibilities assigned .Any of the mal functioning of the system is ought to affect the functioning of the system.
The body is divided into various systems depending on physio-anatomical principles. There are 11 organ systems in the human body to maintain vitality, growth, and reproduction. Three systems, the nervous, circulatory, and respiratory are vital as the activities are required for immediate survival. Eight others systems are nonvital, required for late survival. These are muscular, skeletal, nervous, Circulatory, Respiratory, Digestive, Urinary, Endocrine, Integumentary, Reproductive, Immune system.
A: Musculo-skeletal system: (Muscular and skeletal combined)
Muscular and skeletal systems combinedly are known as musculoskeletal systems. It involves bones, muscle, cartilage, and tendons that support our typical structure and helps in movement and doing finer to larger activities.
B: Nervous systems:
The nervous system comprises a brain, spinal cord, nerve cells, and fibres. The brain is the controlling unit of voluntary and involuntary functions of the body. All the functions are coordinated and maintained by transmitting messages to all the parts of the body (it could be related to the spiritual and kundalini flow of energy).
C: Circulatory system
The heart, arteries, veins, blood, electrolytes, and chemicals are components of the circulatory system. The heat is the vital structure which is singular, auto-pulsating, nerve-regulated, muscular pumping organ, situated inside the chest cage. It receives deoxygenated blood from different parts of the body through veins in the right upper chamber and sends the same to the lung through the right lower chamber for oxygenation. In return, it receives the oxygenated blood from the lungs in the left upper chamber and sends it to the left lower chamber. From there, the blood is sent to different parts of the blood through large and small arteries. Veins and arteries are visible structures. It is appropriate to mention that the spiritual heart (Hruday) is not the physical heart as described above.
D: Respiratory systems:
It starts from the nose and ends at the alveolar of the lungs. Two lungs right and left situated on both sides of the heart inside the chest cage. The first breath when the child takes the air through the nose goes to the lungs through the respiratory tract which leads to opens up of alveoli; the exchange of oxygen (outside air) and carbon dioxide (from blood) takes place by the process of diffusion. Breathing is a vital activity both scientifically and spiritually (Pranayam).
E: Digestive systems
Breaking down of food and substances, absorption of nutrients, and excretion of the unabsorbed products are the main functions of the digestive system. Externally it is visible as the mouth where mastication takes place. Further process of digestion takes place through the stomach, small and large intestines. The nutrients, electrolytes, and chemicals are absorbed through the epithelium goes to the blood. Through blood, these nutrients and chemicals reach the different parts of the body. The mouth and anus are the visible parts.
